Yo Soy Un "Doughnut"

Learning Our Colors.

BY SHEYANN.

When I went on a community walk, I leaned my color was Jamaican brown. Well me and my teacher and my friends were taking pictures of my friend Jiamani . She picked a fied chicken with some rice. Next it was Stacia. Her skin color was a little tanish. She picked a fish because her grandma was cooking and Stacia ate the fish that really was a chicken and that was the story. Then it was Masai. He picked some colorful rainbow candy. Then it was Me. I picked a dounot that had chocolate frosting on it. I also picked it because it was round like my pretty face. And I picked it because it was my color and also because it had colorful sprinkles. I was happy that I picked the dounot . It was on January 23, 2007. I learned that it does not matter what color you are. It does matter that you have friends and you enjoy your color. Do not think that you do not belong.
